To aid in the creative process, Dwight Duke built a foundry on Orcas Island beside his home and studio for melting and pouring silicon bronze. Here, the 3000-year-old process of lost wax casting is blended with innovative technology and the use of modern materials to produce quality bronze sculpture as well as functional cast pieces.
